Cats make ideal companions as they are fairly easy to care for and don't require constant attention. When a cat or kitten wants your attention for either food, playing games or to be let out, they will each have their own way of letting you know.

Cats can live until they are about 18 years old, so buying a cat should not be entered into lightly. Hopefully with care and attention your cat will be a long term friend and become part of the family.

If you are thinking about getting a cat or kitten, consider the possibilty re-homing an unwanted or stray from your local cattery. There are many lovely cats and kittens waiting to be re-homed, so why not offer them a loving home and the chance to be part of your family.

We got our cat when she was six months old from a re-homing centre, she gad been badley looked after and was in need of some tender loving care, she is now 2 years old and has become a loving and playful member of the family.
